introduction

I’ve facilitated kindness classes for nearly 20 years and am always looking for fun and creative ways to deliver content. Long having been a fan of “The Twilight Zone,” especially episodes that had a humanistic bent, it occurred to me that it could be a great source of kindness inspiration. This module was borne out of this idea and my desire to continually explore what it means to be kind.

Each of the three episodes presented here, along with the related theme, inspiration and reflection, can stand on its own. But you’ll get more out of the experience if you work through all three. When I created the activity, it was designed to take place over three weeks, participants taking a week with each theme.

Critical to all of my kindness classes is for you to have the freedom to make anything out of them you want to make. Please don’t feel there is a “right way” to participate other than what feels right to you. It’s important for you to enjoy yourself. If this module ever feels like a chore, please stop.
